I received a sample of SkinMD’s Natural Shielding Lotion to try out and review.
Here is what I noticed.
First application:
I used a small amount on my super dry winter skin. There is no distinct fragrance to this moisturizer. One of the main ingredients is Aloe extract, it glides on and has a very light texture. It takes about sixty seconds for it to absorb. Check their ingredients list for the breakdown.
I have used the lotion several times already. After each time, my skin feels moisturized without the greasy feeling that you get from most brand name lotions. Also, I noticed the Skin MD lotion improved the appearance of my cuticles. I was using cuticle oil lately which did not seem to help much. I noticed a difference after the first application. A few more notable mentions about this product:
- Paraben free
- Not tested on animals
- Natural protective abilities
Finally, in my opinion, I would keep a bottle at home or in my purse. I would compare it to aloe vera gel but without the sticky feeling and with the ability to moisturize. Thanks Skin MD!
