A little about them from their site: Since 1998, Blue Dog Bakery has been dedicated to making healthy all-natural treats for dogs. Our first natural, low-fat treats we created because we wanted a healthy snack for our own dogs. Its wasn’t long before our treats caught on and people were asking where they could buy them.
As we’ve grown, we’ve remained devoted to our initial goal to make healthy, natural treats for dogs. We know that a long and happy life goes paw-in-paw with good nutrition, which we always keep in mind when creating new treats. We only use the highest quality bakery ingredients such as whole eggs, nonfat milk and whole wheat – making them easily digestible, full of fiber and protein and good for an overall balanced diet.
Review: I stumbled on Blue Dog Bakery in the Kroger store here early last year and gave them a try. I was on the hunt for a dog treat that had no artificial flavors or preservatives too. I can tell you the snacks smell really good, almost good enough to eat (no I haven’t tried them, yet). Our boxer loves them! I mean she eats most everything without hesitation so why should I care? Well, it matters to me if her snacks are made with …
… better quality ingredients. Not to mention the adorable animal shapes. Think animal crackers but for dogs. They are carried in many of the large grocery store chains.

I think Frankie would like the Super Stars variety pack for small dogs.
Carter LOVES the “more variety” pack. He prefers anything in the Blue Dog Bakery box over any other treat offered! If our Fry’s offered a breath freshening variety, our dog would be set! My husband will be posting Carter’s video where he actually picks the better treat!
