Ingredients:
One can of cinnamon rolls that include icing
Food coloring
Instructions:
Pull apart cinnamon rolls and straighten them out. Twist each strand several times to give it shape.
Now start to layout your cake. Start with the center piece, first. Wrap the strand from the center to make the start of your ‘cinnamon roll’. Continue by adding, another piece to the end of your first and so on. Continue until have used all your strands.
Follow instructions on cinnamon roll package to figure cooking time.
While cinnamon rolls are baking prep your colored glazes.
Take your glaze and seperate in to several small containers.
In each container add a 2-3 drops of your desired colors. The brighter the better for Mardi Gras (Purple, Yellow, Green are traditional colors of the holiday).
When they are finished cooking, start by adding one of your glaze colors. Continue with the rest until you have finsihed your glazes.
Sprinkles or other sugar garnishments can be added to make it more festive!
