Sweet coffees, cake, cookies and ice cream. Not all at once of course.
Sugar highs. And lows.
Last year, I had horrible headaches and just feeling yuck. And then I checked my sugar levels. Can’t say I was shocked. Just glad I looked into it. It was definitely time to cut back on the mochas and frappes.
The American Diabetes Association spends the month of November to raise awareness with their Stop Diabetes movement.
That is several months away but in the meantime, if you want to take charge then sign-up at Diabetic Connect. Get a free guide called: 21 Days to Better Diabetes Control, it is 43 pages. This includes a glucose and food log to help you track & meal planning tips. There are several offer prompts, those are optional. Once you get to the last prompt, the guide will download. There are yummy recipes (remember you can select to print certain pages or print as you go).

“…Diabetic Connect is a social network that empowers people living with diabetes. They make it easy to start conversations, meet others, share treatments, read and post product recommendations, and much more…”
I can’t quit all sweets, I love chocolate too much but I am definitely happier these days knowing my sugar levels.
