Sister Schubert’s Pretzel Rolls Review & Giveaway

By on 12-12-2010 in giveaways

I am a lover of fresh baked bread. Typically, I purchase whatever brand is on sale or make it from scratch. Prep time is not always on my side with 3 growing teens to feed. Since I am working again, I have to keep a few quick meal options stocked each week.

I recently found Sister Schubert’s  line in my local grocery store. Sadly, I was not able to find the cinnamon rolls, however I picked up the soft pretzel rolls. I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes like homemade goodness and they passed the teen taste test! Besides how quick they were to prepare, they were very yummy fresh from the oven. If you have a house full of guys like me, you will need 2 packages. They go quickly!

Soft Pretzel Rolls – 6 rolls

Sister Schubert’s NEW Soft Pretzel Rolls have a thin, slightly crisp outside and a soft, warm center.  Whether it’s a delicious snack, a soft roll for your favorite slider or a complement to dinner, Sister Schubert’s Soft Pretzel Rolls are a versatile way to enjoy restaurant-quality taste at home.  Visit SisterSchuberts.com for more recipe ideas.

Want to try Sister Schubert’s too? Enter below and 2 FF readers will receive a coupon to purchase one product. Please review giveaway guidelines and check to find out if they sell Sister Schubert’s products in your area before entering.

I was one of the bloggers selected by T. Marzetti Company and Family Review Network to host a Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls giveaway. They provided me with product to test myself as well as prizes for my readers. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

Food Network Store Giveaway

By on 12-12-2010 in giveaways

Who is your favorite Food Network chef? I would have to say for me, it is definitely Tyler Florence or Jamie Oliver. And I used to love watching Iron Chef.

I recently heard that Food Network has an online store.

I’ve been cooking and experimenting with different recipes. Things I would only let the dh taste test, lol. He is pretty good about giving me constructive feedback, ha!

Since I am always in the kitchen (especially with the holidays here),  I have a long list of items I noticed I need to update. One being knives and cutlery. A few new pans. And of course utensils.

On the Food Network site you can shop by category or chef, plus they have a gift idea section. Check it out!

Well what are you doing this holiday — are you baking or enjoying the baked goods? I’m doing most of the cooking and of course enjoying once it is all done!

Blue Dog Bakery Review & Giveaway

Blue Dog Bakery Review & Giveaway

A little about them from their site: Since 1998, Blue Dog Bakery has been dedicated to making healthy all-natural treats for dogs. Our first natural, low-fat treats we created because we wanted a healthy snack for our own dogs. Its wasn’t long before our treats caught on and people were asking where they could buy them.

As we’ve grown, we’ve remained devoted to our initial goal to make healthy, natural treats for dogs. We know that a long and happy life goes paw-in-paw with good nutrition, which we always keep in mind when creating new treats. We only use the highest quality bakery ingredients such as whole eggs, nonfat milk and whole wheat – making them easily digestible, full of fiber and protein and good for an overall balanced diet.

Review: I stumbled on Blue Dog Bakery in the Kroger store here early last year and gave them a try. I was on the hunt for a dog treat that had no artificial flavors or preservatives too. I can tell you the snacks smell really good, almost good enough to eat (no I haven’t tried them, yet). Our boxer loves them! I mean she eats most everything without hesitation so why should I care? Well, it matters to me if her snacks are made with …

… better quality ingredients. Not to mention the adorable animal shapes. Think animal crackers but for dogs. They are carried in many of the large grocery store chains.

PS Ever wonder what to stuff your dog’s stocking with? These are the perfect holiday treat/gift :)
